FINALLY! I have literally been working on this for months. Oh, the sketch was easy, but coloring? Ohhoho, I had to wait forever on other people to use their computer. But now I got my own! And after finally getting everything organized, I was able to finish!

So, anyway, this is the prize for the winner of my watermark contest, ~kureejiilea. She requested her two nomadic characters, Rail (left) and Nava-Ki (right). When she colored my Fantasy nightmaren picture, she mentioned how much she liked the ribbons. So I thought of a way to incorporate ribbons for her characters as well. =3 They're not so well done but... anyway, apparently the tribe found this nice lil' plateau during their travels. While camping, Rail and Nava-Ki were selected to perform, using the natural stage they came upon. ^-^ I had fun designing the outfits. And if you can't tell, the grass paintbrush is a blessing for outside scenes. :P

Four layers total. I feel like I'm doing something wrong.

I do believe you have surpassed yourself on this one, big sis!

Now I've analyzed this art with a team of cheerleaders, and they came up with one unanimous conclusion; that if I let them go they promised they won't tell nobody.

YAYRIBBONDANCE. gleeeee~

Awesome! I love their outfits. Nava's has a slight Asian vibe to it, and the "panels" of buttons by the hip are a very unique touch. I especially like Rail's top and the bottoms of the pants - I'd been thinking of doing something like that on her myself. Those are unusual colours on em - at least, unusual from what I normally do, so it's nice to see something different (I tend to get stuck in certain colour themes). Their poses are elegant; I especially like Rail's expression (and her little braids). Thank you very much!

Really? ^.^' I'd kill for a tablet to get smoother, cleaner lines though.

Hey, my mama raised me to know that whining for something doesn't get me my way. So why is everyone doing it now...?

You could use the pen tool with a mouse if you want.

I'm so glad you like it! ^-^ I know Rail's outfit turned out kind of gypsy-like. I was pretty stuck on what to do for Nava, and I ended up with this. The "buttons" are actually gems, but because I had to shrink it so much to smooth it out, you can't really tell. >_>'

Thank you for making a watermark for me and entering my contest! =3

So I've been told. I'll have to find a tutorial on that. But for this, I had already inked it traditionally. ^-^'

That's beautiful. The colors are very attractive, and I like how the ribbons match each girl, the duskier colors for the duskier character and the brighter colored ribbon for the brighter character.

...the Champion stood, the rest saw their better, Mister Rogers in a blood-stained sweater...
:iconbluefantasy:
I was wondering if anyone had picked up on that. ^.^' Thank you! ^-^
